In fact, the grille is the same size as a competitive 5-1/4" speaker, making it the perfect choice for those who want a discreet, yet powerful sound.
Definitive Technology DI 5.5S Features
The DI Series features wide-angle dispersion to deliver rich, full-range audio, no matter where the listener is in the room. BDSS technology drivers with amiable tweeters and contoured Aero Ring surround the driver, which contributes to the wide-angle dispersion of sound. This speaker also has repositionable metal mesh arms to give it an optimal position in any room.
The DI 5.5S has the same fidelity as traditional 6-1/2" speakers, with the added benefit of eliminating diffraction distortions. It also features a pivoting 1" Pure Aluminum dome tweeter and an advanced adjustable crossover network.
The DI Series speakers also offer stealthy installations and a variety of accessories. The pivoting lock arms and paintable grilles make installation quick and easy, requiring minimal sheetrock knowledge.
