Definitive Technology DT8LCR Features
Designed from scratch, the DT8LCR is a high-quality, easy-to-install rectangular in-wall speaker. Its 8" woofer is made from composite mineral-filled polypropylene, while the 1" Pivoting Dome tweeter is made of annealed aluminum. The DT8LCR's low-diffraction swivel tweeter eliminates cross-driver interference and improves dispersion. The speaker also boasts off-axis response, which helps deliver a pure, natural sound.
This speaker can be easily installed using four common tools. It features a lightweight, durable construction, integrated pivoting lock arms, and paintable grilles. It can be used as a front speaker for a home theater setup or a stereo speaker for a distributed audio system. It can be installed directly into a room's main listening position, or it can be oriented toward a wall or ceiling for a more diffused sound field.
