The SR9040 bipolar surround speaker utilizes a patented bipolar driver configuration to create an immersive sound field. This surround speaker features front and rear-firing speaker arrays, a built-in powered subwoofer, and a cloth-grille-wrapped enclosure to enhance audio quality. The speaker's dual woofers deliver crystal-clear sound, while its tweeter produces smooth, sparkling highs. The speaker's balanced double-surround system also ensures that the sound is evenly dispersed throughout the room.
The SR9040 uses a resonance-free cabinet and acoustically transparent grilles to improve imaging and reduce resonance. It has a keyhole slot on the rear panel for wall-mounting, but it can also be placed on a stand or shelf. Moreover, the speaker's five-way binding posts accept spade connectors and single banana plugs. It also accommodates bare wire up to 10 gauge.
