Denon AVRS960H Overview
If you’re looking to upgrade your home theater setup, Denon has a couple of receivers that you may want to consider. These include the AVRS960H and the AVR-X2700H. The two models are a bit different when it comes to features, but they both deliver high-end performance at an affordable price point.
The AVRS960H is an 8K-ready HDMI 2.1 receiver with support for eARC (electronic audio return channel). Its main upgrade over previous models is Dolby Atmos support, which adds more depth and soundstage height to movies. It also supports a range of other advanced features, including Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode for gaming on a PS5 or Xbox Series X.
Its internal hardware is a standard for Denon, and it uses the same discrete amplifiers on all channels as found in other Denon units. Its 32-bit D/A converters are capable of high-resolution audio decoding and provide low distortion and the widest possible dynamic range.
There’s also a phono input and a 6.3mm headphone output, as well as 5 analog line inputs for connecting other components in your system. In addition, the AVR-S960H supports Bluetooth for transmitting your favorite music from any device to your headphones or speakers in your home.

The S960H is fitted with Denon’s Audyssey suite of EQ technology, which aims to tune your home theater audio for a seamless listening experience. It uses a measuring microphone to assess the acoustics of your listening room, and then automatically adjusts your audio to best suit the space.
Unlike many other home theater receivers on the market, the AVRS960H has an easy-to-use, on-screen setup assistant that guides you through the process of connecting speakers, setting up inputs, and running the room correction. Its setup is so simple that almost anyone can do it right away, and the guide even shows you how to set up your wireless network.
It can also be paired with other Denon devices via HEOS and Airplay 2 apps for convenient control. You can even use the HEOS app to create playlists and stream songs from your library or other devices.
The AVRS960H can play content from a USB drive, and it also has DLNA, which allows you to stream media stored on your network or other devices to the receiver. This is especially useful if you have a variety of sources and don’t want to mess with cables.

It depends on where you are and what you are ordering. All types of speakers will take minimum 4-5 business days as per the delivery location. Products that are not magnetic can be delivered faster if customer agrees to bear air-freight cost.
