Marantz PM 7000N Overview
The Marantz PM 7000N Integrated Stereo amplifier is a high-end home audio receiver that offers high-quality sound reproduction and an array of features. It has three-Line inputs and one output, including a pre amplified Phono input that is compatible with turntables using MM phono cartridges. It also features a USB-A port for playing high-resolution audio files. In addition, it features two pairs of high-end proprietary speaker terminals. These are compatible with heavy gauge cables, banana plugs, and spade connectors.
PM 7000N offers a number of benefits and a long heritage of audiophile engineering. Its new electric volume control is highly linear and provides best-in-class channel separation. The PM7000N includes three Pure Modes to optimize sound quality and minimize interference. Using the Pure Modes allows you to tune out the noise and interference from various sources without disturbing your music playback.
Marantz PM 7000N Features
The Marantz PM 7000N also includes an improved phono input, which features a new design. It also supports HEOS, a wireless audio streaming system. Its amplification section is also more advanced, delivering two to 60 watts into 8 ohms, with very low distortion at 0.02%. In addition, the Marantz PM7000N is powered by a large-capacity power supply.
The Marantz PM 7000N also features a newly-designed DAC section and an improved electric volume control circuit. The DAC is equipped with an AKM AK4490 DAC chip, which decodes PCM audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. The phono preamp section is improved over previous generations and has a FET input stage.
