On the plus side, this means that the Bronze 100 is able to reproduce bass at a much higher volume level than its predecessors without overpowering upper-frequency details. This can be particularly beneficial for music tracks such as Hans Zimmer's Interstellar OST, which demands an enormous output of bass without overwhelming the detail that can be extracted from it.
It's also worth noting that the Bronze 100 features a new tweeter flange, which offers dramatically improved dispersion qualities. This is a very useful upgrade, especially when it's used with a Dolby Atmos surround speaker like the Marantz SR7013.

This pair of standmounted speakers is the natural step up from the smaller Bronze 50s and feature larger cabinets and renowned Monitor Audio speaker construction to give a grander audio presentation than their less expensive counterparts. Our renowned C-CAM technology in the new 8" driver ensures that this is one of the most powerful and detailed-sounding bookshelf speakers available.
The Bronze 100 is a rear-ported design with a 25mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter fitted with a new Uniform Dispersion (UD) waveguide and an eight-inch mid-bass driver with updated cone geometries and Damped Concentric Mode (DCM) technology. The UD waveguide is designed to strengthen the diffusion of high-frequency sound waves and make them more evenly dispersed throughout the room.
Another important feature is the presence of a gold-plated Bi-Wire terminal on the front baffle. This is to make the speakers easy to connect to a DAC and provide a better signal transfer.
Lastly, the Bronze 100 has an internal wiring system that uses oxygen-free copper silver-plated wire and gold-plated Bi-Wire terminals. This can significantly increase the efficiency of the audio transmission, reduce the loss of audio and make the system easier to use.
