Monitor Audio's flagship 'Timeless' 300 Series 3-way speakers offer the best in-wall and in-ceiling options for music and home theatre applications. They marry C-CAM bass drivers with RST cone profiles to deliver deeper bass, higher system output, and greater power handling than the 200 Series three-way models.

Monitor Audio W280 Features
The Monitor Audio C380-FX has been optimized for home theatre applications, in particular surround sound channels. Featuring a surround mode selection of dipole (diffuse sound) or bipole (direct sound), the speaker delivers super-discreet home cinema sounds. The speaker also incorporates an 8-inch C-CAM RST bass driver and dual 1-inch C-CAM gold dome tweeters mounted at a precise fixed angle for optimized performance. A 12-volt trigger input is also included for automatic surround mode switching.
2-Way sound reflex system for improved acoustic accuracy and performance, separating high and low frequencies to improve sound quality and reduce distortion. The combination of the bass driver and tweeters produces rich, full-range sound for an immersive audio experience.
Dual 1 "C-CAM gold dome tweeters provide a clear and natural sound with a smooth and detailed frequency response. The C380-FX can be fitted in ceilings or walls to suit your installation and is finished in a neutral dark grey color with a white grille that is paintable, allowing it to blend effortlessly into your living space décor.
Optimized for reference quality surround sound with Pure Theatre, the C380-FX offers a 3-driver, 2-way design to deliver direct or diffuse surround-sound effects via a front-mounted switch or alternatively by utilizing the 12-volt trigger found on high-end AV amplifiers. The combination of the RST bass driver and C-CAM tweeters provides coherent tonal balance and sonic signature across the entire audio frequency spectrum for unmatched reference sound reproduction.
