Polk Audio DSW Pro 660 Overview
The 500-watt Intelligent Digital Amplifier in the Polk Audio DSW pro 660 WI Powered Subwoofer propels the 12-inch Dynamic Balance Driver to create a more subterranean bass effect and explosive sound. This subwoofer is designed for home use and is compatible with all speaker systems.
It has a 12-inch woofer with an advanced Bass Room Optimizer (PROM), which allows you to select the optimal position for the subwoofer and equalize the response in your room. The subwoofer also has a phase switch, volume controls, and removable feet. It can be configured for down-firing or front-firing operation. Its powerful bass response will provide deep bass clarity in any room.
Polk Audio DSW Pro 660 Features
A four-way phase selection and four presets allow you to tune the bass to your preferences. The blue status LED is easy to read. The Polk DSW Pro 660 WI Powered Sub Woofer is one of the most expensive and most powerful subwoofers on the market.
To adjust the volume of the subwoofer, you can use the remote control or the on-board LED. The volume LED flashes a two-digit code representing the volume setting in a range of 0 to 40. If you select "mute" from the remote control, the mute LED slowly blinks.
The DSW PRO 660 WI Powered Subwoofer is equipped with a Klippel Distortion Analyzer (KDA) that analyzes the sound of a subwoofer. With the KDA, Polk Audio engineers optimize the motor structure, suspension, and voice coil alignment for smooth movement and superior sound quality. These elements and techniques enable the DSWPRO series of subwoofers to maximize sound quality and bass response.
