A pattern across nearly every quote we issue.

Because warranty is set per brand by each brand's India distribution, not by the dealer, and it often differs from the same brand's US or EU terms. Every multi-brand quote, including ours, is a patchwork for that reason.

Look at any full-system quote. Some speaker brands carry multi-year or on-site warranties in India. Subwoofer specialists often carry long terms. Several major electronics brands carry one year as per their India distributor policy. Same box, same customer, different promise, and the dealer cannot change any of it. We can tell you what each term is; we cannot rewrite it.

Why the India terms differ from what a listing abroad shows: warranty is a distributor obligation, priced into the landed cost, and each distributor decides how much of that risk to carry. So the number you saw on a foreign website is not the number that applies to a unit bought here.

What to do with this. Read the warranty line per component, not as one number for the system. Treat the published India term as the truth. Weigh it in comparisons: between two similar speakers at similar money, a longer on-site warranty is a real tiebreaker, and I would use it. And buy through the authorised channel, because every one of those warranties assumes it; grey imports arrive with a warranty that is valid in a country you do not live in.

Also worth knowing: an AVR is the component most likely to need service in the first years (HDMI boards, firmware, network), and often the one with the shortest term. Factor that in when you decide between an extended cover, if the brand offers one, and simply keeping the invoice safe.

We state per-brand terms in writing on every quote, as per brand or distributor policy, so there are no month-13 surprises. If a quote you are holding, from anyone, shows one warranty figure for the whole system, ask for it per component. The answer will tell you a lot about who wrote it.
