JBL SCL-2 Overview
The SCL-2 is a custom in-wall loudspeaker designed primarily for use as an LCR or surround in larger systems. It features JBL's patented D2415K dual 1.5-inch (38mm) compression driver mated to a large format High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) horn. Triple 8-inch (200mm) Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast-frame woofers operate in a 2.5-way network configuration allowing for installation vertically or horizontally without lobbing or other acoustical issues found in traditional designs. The integrated MDF enclosure is designed for installation in standard 2x6 wood frame construction, and Internal connections allow for bi-wiring or bi-amplification in advanced installations. The SCL-2 delivers unparalleled performance in a wide variety of applications and is ideal for use in medium, large, and extra-large rooms.

The JBL SCL-2 features a 2.5-way triple 8′′ (200mm) driver configuration for low-frequency extension with high output capability and powerful dynamics.
The SCL-2 is designed for LCR and surround channel applications in medium to large-size systems. It combines a D2415K dual 1.5′′ compression driver mated to a patented High-Definition Imaging horn assembly with three 8′′ Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast frame woofers to achieve impressive levels of performance from an in-wall loudspeaker.
Amongst the many innovations included in the SCL-2 are its patented Annular Ring Diaphragm (ARD) compression driver, patented HDI(tm) waveguide technology and components, and an innovative zero-bezel magnetically attached grille that hides in the wall. All of these patented technologies and components make the SCL-2 one of the most technically advanced in-wall loudspeakers in the industry.
Top-of-the-line in the SCL-2 lineup, the patented ARD driver uses an annular ring to provide smoother performance than traditional designs. The ARD design also reduces distortion while providing increased output capability and better soundstage definition.
Best of all, the patented horn technology can be positioned off-axis up to 45 degrees from the listening position for a more immersive audio experience in small to medium size rooms.
Other noteworthy technologies include the patented Cat Claw mounting mechanism and gold-plated spring-loaded binding posts, as well as the SCL-2’s aptX wireless technology for easy streaming of music from smartphones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

It depends on where you are and what you are ordering. All types of speakers will take minimum 4-5 business days as per the delivery location. Products that are not magnetic can be delivered faster if customer agrees to bear air-freight cost.
