JBL SDA-2200 Overview
The power switch can be used to turn the SDA-2200 on and off or to mute the outputs. In standby mode, the amplifier's gain is set at a lower level than normal.
SDA-2200 is a Class G amplification model that provides audiophile-quality performance with incredibly powerful dynamics. It is rated to deliver 200W into 8 ohms and 400W into 4 ohms. It can be bridged to deliver 1,100W into a 4-ohm load, making it ideal for LCR and surround speakers in JBL Synthesis immersive audio systems.
The SDA-2200's Crown DriveCore technology replaces hundreds of amplifier parts with a single chip for superior power density, stability, and fidelity. It also incorporates best-in-class 96kHz/32-bit floating point processing with FIR filtering, LevelMAX(tm) limiting, eight-channel parametric EQ, and delays settings. It can be configured at the push of a button with built-in JBL Cinema Speaker presets to match JBL cinema loudspeakers. The unit also supports SNMP, allowing easy interface with third-party theater management and cinema control systems.

Among its other features is Dirac Live Room Correction, which uses machine learning and AI to more accurately and cohesively balanced bass delivery around the listening space. It's a great addition to the SDR-35 and if you have a multi-subwoofer system, you'll find it particularly useful.
