The JBL SDEC-4500P is the first powered model in the new consumer Studio Monitor range and packs a serious audio punch with a host of patented JBL acoustic technologies that will have you believing you're listening to a pair of tower speakers. The SDEC-4500P's integrated streaming engine provides both wired and wireless network audio capabilities via Ethernet, Google Chromecast Built-in, Apple AirPlay 2, Room, and Bluetooth audio. A 24-bit/192kHz high-resolution digital-to-analog converter (DAC) ensures your favorite tracks come across with the highest fidelity.
Equipped with dual Class D power amplifiers that have been custom designed by JBL for each transducer, the 305P MkII delivers the generous dynamic range to provide the output and power you need to hear exceptional detail at any volume--even at peak SPLs. With a wide sweet spot, an immersive soundstage, and precise imaging, 305P MkII's patented JBL Image Control Waveguide ensure a seamless transition between the low- and high-frequency transducers, revealing impressive detail, ambiance, and depth in your mixes.

Featuring dual-balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS phono inputs, the SDEC-4500P is ready to connect with your gear right out of the box. A selectable input sensitivity switch allows for a flexible setup, and the analog inputs can be used with balanced or unbalanced signals to support all your studio needs.
The SDEC-4500P supports a wide array of formats, including MP3, AAC, and WMA lossless audio. The device can also play FLAC and WAV files up to 192kHz/24-bit resolution. Alternatively, the device can connect to a mass-storage class hard disk and play media in a variety of formats.
With a compact design, the SDEC-4500P is the perfect complement to any home or professional setup. It can be mounted directly on the wall or placed on a tabletop, making it ideal for both desktop and home entertainment systems.
