The Revel C363XC is a 6.5” extreme climate flush-mount loudspeaker designed to deliver true high-performance Revel sound in any location that is hot, cold, damp, humid, or wet.
The Revel C363XC is part of the new Revel XC Series of Extreme Climate Loudspeakers designed to handle placement in hot, cold, damp, and wet outdoor locations such as marine environments and showers. Available in 8-inch and 6.5-inch models, the C363XC and C383XC use black aluminum cones, cast-polymer-frame woofers, 1-inch black aluminum dome tweeters, and high-order crossover networks for clear, detailed sound with smooth tonal balance and extremely low distortion and coloration over a wide dynamic range.
Revel C363XC Features
The Revel C363XC is a 6.5” extreme climate flush-mount loudspeaker. As part of the XC series, they have been specifically engineered and rigorously tested to perform to Revel's exacting standards in outdoor, damp, wet, or high-humidity and have been designed to withstand environmental abuses while not affecting performance. The C363XC is also resistant to corrosion from salt water and can be deployed in marine applications such as high-end yachts. The XC series flush mount loudspeakers are the first in a new range of extreme climate loudspeakers from Revel demonstrating that audiophile-caliber sound quality can be found in extreme climate applications.
The XC Series also features zero-bezel magnetic grilles that look identical to those on the rest of Revel's Architectural Series in-ceiling loudspeakers for a consistent aesthetic. All speakers in the XC Series have weatherized drivers and construction to withstand environmental abuses without compromising performance, and the C383XC and C363XC are IP65 rated for durability, meaning they can withstand spray and low-pressure jets of water from all directions.
They are perfect for outdoor locations including under eaves, around decks and patios, and screened porches, and can be hidden in trees and landscaping. They can also be deployed in indoor locations such as showers, saunas, and gymnasiums.
These speakers have a wide frequency response for optimal performance in all types of applications, and a low-profile design that requires less than 2.8 inches of mounting depth, which makes them easy to install in tight spaces. It depends on where you are and what you are ordering. All types of speakers will take minimum 4-5 business days as per the delivery location. Products that are not magnetic can be delivered faster if customer agrees to bear air-freight cost.
