Multi-room audio is the same or different music in several rooms, controlled from your phone. What you need depends almost entirely on what stage your house is at, so that is the first question, before any brand.

Update, on your terms. Not mid-movie-night, not on unstable power, and not because a notification nagged you.

The dB scale on your AVR is not "how loud". It is "how far below reference", so needing minus 20 for a satisfying volume is completely normal and says nothing about a weak amplifier.

HD works and 4K HDR does not: that is a bandwidth problem, and the usual suspect is the cable or a port. One of the few AV problems where the cheap fix is also the correct one.

That is HDMI-CEC doing its job, just not the job you wanted. CEC is the control channel that lets devices switch each other on, change inputs and share a remote. Useful when it behaves, maddening when devices from different brands interpret it differently.

Accept the split first: speakers are long-term assets, electronics are period pieces. Everything sensible about future-proofing follows from that one sentence.

Wireless surrounds and subs are good where wiring is truly impossible, and wired remains the reliable choice where wiring is merely inconvenient. That is our rule, and it has not needed revising.

Check the AVR's spec page for the HDMI generation and features on its inputs, and check how many of the ports actually carry them. That second half is where most gaming disappointments start.

Speakers age gracefully. Electronics age in formats. Usually that means keep half and replace half, and the maths favours the upgrade over a full replacement.

For a projector you will keep long-term or use heavily, laser usually wins on total cost. For lighter use on a tight budget, the lamp model's upfront saving is real. Pick the column you belong in first.

At the sizes projectors exist for, yes, 4K is visibly worth it. A big picture is the entire reason you chose a projector, and Full HD is the resolution that struggles most as the image grows.

A processor is an AV receiver with the amplifiers removed: it does the switching, decoding and room correction, and hands amplification to dedicated power amps. Separates buy headroom, flexibility and an upgrade path, at meaningfully higher cost and complexity. Most living rooms do not need them.

Often yes. AVR generations change incrementally, and a one-generation-old model at a real discount is frequently the best value in the whole lineup.

Because in this industry it is true, and I would rather write it down than surprise you. A quote is a snapshot of pricing on the day it was issued; the advance is what converts it into a promise.

Because warranty is set per brand by each brand's India distribution, not by the dealer, and it often differs from the same brand's US or EU terms. Every multi-brand quote, including ours, is a patchwork for that reason.

The experience lives in the design, not in the last 20% of component cost. A cheaper build can preserve it, provided it got cheaper by substituting components and not by breaking the geometry.

Do not make both rooms mediocre. If the budget strains, complete one properly and stage the other, and I would usually complete the theatre first because it eats more money in speaker count.
