Marantz has launched its Cinema Series with four new high-end AV receivers namely Cinema 70s, Cinema 60, Cinema 50 and Cinema 40 which replaces NR1711, SR5015, SR6015 and SR7015 respectively. Along with that the new AV separate models have also been launched including AV 10 and AMP 10 which are reference-caliber 16-channel amp/preamp combo. The new lineup is 8K ready and supports the latest high-definition content, including 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos. The newest Cinema models also offer processing for IMAX enhanced and Auro3D.
New Design & Features for the New Age
The Marantz Cinema Series features a new design that moves away from the typical rectangular look of most AVRs. Its rounded, contemporary design is inspired by the brand's hi-fi models. The front panel has golf-ball-like dimples and integrates aluminum plates around the edges. This design helps the receiver blend in seamlessly with the interior of the room.
The Marantz Cinema Series offers a variety of features, including a porthole display, premium construction, and a newly designed remote. The Cinema 50 features 9.4 channels of amplification and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. Other features include a personal music library and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Marantz Cinema Series AV Separates
Talking about the AV Separates, the Marantz Cinema Series includes the flagship AV10 and AMP 10. The AV10 and AMP 10 use HDAM technology, making them quieter and more efficient. They also support multi-room set-ups and streaming content via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Voice control is also available through Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant, which allow you to control your system by voice. The Cinema Series also comes with a built-in HEOS wireless speaker. The AV 10 has 15 channels of amplification and seven HDMI inputs, while the AMP 10 boasts two-hundred-watt per-channel amplification. The AV 10 and AMP 10 are priced at EUR 6,999 each in the foreing market.
