Before you buy audio/video gear online — ask any seller these 5 questions
None of the above should be taken on trust — ours included. India has more than one import channel for most AV brands: the box can look identical, and the after-sales experience can be completely different. So here are the five questions worth asking any seller, and our own answers to them.
1. Are you an authorised dealer for this brand?
One email to the brand confirms it. Ask them to put it in writing.
2. What do independent reviews say about the seller?
Not the reviews on the seller's own website. Check Google, Trustpilot, MouthShut and consumer forums.
3. Which importer supplied this unit?
Service networks and turnaround times differ between importers. Ask.
4. What happens if the product never ships?
Get the refund policy in writing, before you pay.
5. Is the unit brand-new or refurbished?
Ask in writing.
Authorised dealer. Units supplied through the official India importer, with full India manufacturer warranty. Importer named on your invoice. Brand-new, sealed stock only.

Key specs
How loud will it get at your seat?
Estimate for one speaker using the manufacturer's sensitivity (95 dB) and power handling (100 W), nominal impedance 8 Ω. Real rooms usually add a few dB, and several speakers playing together add more. Receiver power ratings are usually measured with two channels driven, so expect less per channel when all channels play at once. Cinema reference means 105 dB peaks per channel. Want a check against a specific receiver? Use our Compatibility Checker or ask us.

Add professional room calibration
Most systems sound well below their potential until they're properly dialed in. Have our team measure and calibrate your setup — done right, in-home in select cities or remotely.

Authorised dealer
AV Kart is an authorised dealer for the brands we sell. Units are supplied through the official India importer with the applicable manufacturer warranty (as per brand/distributor policy), and the importer is named on your invoice.
Buying anywhere online? Ask the seller to confirm their authorised-dealer status with the brand in writing — one email to the brand settles it.
Stock & delivery
In stock and ready to ship. Orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 business days, with insured delivery across India (₹500 flat-rate shipping).
Large or heavy freight items (big floorstanders, projection screens, large subwoofers) can take longer and may be quoted separately — we'll confirm the exact timeline and delivery cost for your pincode before you pay.
Professional calibration
AV Kart is one of the only retailers in India offering studio-grade audio calibration — most online sellers don't offer it at all. It's a genuine paid service, tiered by complexity:
- Level 1 — Standard calibration: manual AVR-based tuning for typical setups.
- Level 2 — Advanced room correction (REW or Dirac Live, depending on your AVR/processor): custom correction filters, priced by system size and configuration.
- Level 3 — Precision verification (REW-based setups only): adds a UMIK-1 measurement mic to verify and fine-tune results. Not offered on Dirac Live systems, since distance/delay settings aren't user-adjustable there.
Pricing depends on your system size and level. In-person visits are available in Delhi NCR / North India; remote guided calibration — where you help take measurements with a mic — is available anywhere in India.
