Monitor Audio Cinergy 200 Overview
The Cinergy 100 and 200 have an integrated handle, along with foot and isolation brackets to help them sit securely on the wall or on the floor. The speakers can also be adapted to fit into stud walls, fitting onto walls or secured to the floor, with all of these options available through the company's UK distributor Kevro International.
The Cinergy range will be shown at ISE from 10-13 May in Barcelona, where Monitor Audio will be sponsoring the Influencer Lounge in Hall 2, Stand 2Q250. It will also be showing a static display of the Cinergy 300 at the show.
It also has a unique modular design that can be rotated when necessary, to ensure a bespoke installation whether it is on the wall or on the floor. These units also have a wide range of isolation options, including removable port bungs and precise equalizer settings, so integrators can tailor the bass response to meet their needs.
Monitor Audio Cinergy 200 Features
Monitor Audio is launching a new premium home cinema speaker system that's designed to be installed both built-in and on the wall. Cinergy 200 includes three loudspeaker models and a passive subwoofer, all of which are THX Certified Ultra and have a modular design for bespoke installation.
All of the speakers in the range feature a rotatable mid and tweeter driver array, which can be positioned horizontally or vertically. All three also have a choice of isolation options to isolate them from the surrounding surfaces, minimizing vibrations for purer sound and a truly immersive listening experience.
The two main full-range models, the Cinergy 100 and Cinergy 200 have C-CAM midrange drivers with high power handling, wide directivity, and a sensitivity of 90dB. These are joined by an MPD (Micro Pleated Diaphragm) tweeter, previously found on the Platinum and Gold Series models, which has been developed by the manufacturer to improve bass response and reduce reflections from the screen.
Each model also features a 15 'ultra-high excursion' C-CAM woofer for bass that's said to be 'never felt before'. The subwoofer, the Cinergy Sub15, can either be installed in a sound wall' or on the floor, as well as paired with Monitor Audio's IA800-2C amplifier to achieve THX Certified Ultra specification.
In-wall or on the floor, these THX Certified Ultra speakers will be sold with Monitor Audio's IA800-2C amp, which has been designed to support 2 x 800W of output. The company says it will provide a variety of EQ profiles for use with the amplifier, available to download from its website.
The range's speakers are also equipped with a variety of innovative features for effortless performance, such as integrated handles and feet, plus isolation brackets to counter vibrations depending on how they are installed.
'Cinergy is our most adaptable speaker range to date,' says the British company, 'designed with the understanding that no two installations are exactly the same.'
