The Platinum PLIC II is a design and installation friendly three way in-ceiling speaker that offers unsurpassed levels of performance, delivering sublime audio accuracy. The Monitor PLIC II’s most notable features include an 8” long throw bass driver with Rigid Diaphragm Technology (RDT II), dual two inch C-CAM midrange drivers, and a Micro Pleated Diaphragm (MPD) air motion high frequency ribbon transducer. Designed with the installer in mind, this slick looking speaker is a snap to fit using Monitor’s patented Tri-Grip fixing system. The aforementioned tri-grip is a 3 position dog leg style fix that provides greater contact surface area than your standard two-part screws.
The PLIC II is not only the smallest and lightest in its class but also boasts the most impressive sound performance. The best part is it has been designed for use in a wide variety of installations and environments, making it a true standout of the pack.
