Monitor Audio Radius 225 Features

All the new products feature metal driver configurations, and C-CAM bass drivers and tweeters, which have been optimized to deliver a smoother and more accurate performance within the slim cabinets. The new drivers are based on a combination of technology introduced in Monitor's Platinum range and used subsequently in the Gold GX line of speakers, which introduces concave cone profiles that aid smoother, wider bass response.
The new drivers also benefit from a rear-venting design, which releases air trapped at the back of the tweeter dome and guides it around the drive assembly to a rear-loading chamber to lower resonance and distortion across a wider operating range for greater accuracy. They're also more efficient, enabling them to work more effectively when driving small, high-performance enclosures like the Radius 225.
The Monitor Audio Radius 225 centre channel speaker is bi-wiring and bi-amping compatible, so you can easily connect the speakers to your audio/video receiver and processor. This means that you can configure the Radius 225 for a variety of home theatre systems, with no need to worry about compatibility issues.
Radius 225 features a gold C-CAM tweeter, which is designed to provide smooth and detailed high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion and consistent performance over time. This tweeter is also able to handle heat efficiently, so you can use it for long periods of time without having to worry about the speaker breaking down.
