Emotiva TA2 Overview
The preamplifier section of the TA2 includes a high-performance stereo FM tuner, a generous number of inputs for line-level analog sources, a built-in DAC with plenty of digital inputs for all of your digital audio sources, including a high-resolution asynchronous USB input, and a built-in AptX HD capable Bluetooth receiver, and a high-performance phono preamp that supports both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. The amplifier section features a toroidal transformer and true audiophile-quality Class A/B output circuitry that delivers plenty of power to drive any speakers to satisfy listening levels.
The new TA2 builds on the legacy of our TA-100 and TA1, and adds some important features, including a more powerful Bass Management system, and a set of Home Theater Bypass inputs, as well as significantly more output power, to bring you the next step in the evolution of affordable audiophile components. Emotiva TA2 Features
Among them is the fabled TA2's 'high-performance' phono preamp, which supports both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges via a gain selector. On the amplification front, there's a fully integrated subwoofer output that sports a switchable 90Hz 12db/octave Linkwitz-Reily low-pass filter. This is the first time I've ever seen such a feature on a stereo amplifier, and the results are excellent.
The TA2's DAC is no slouch too, with an Analog Devices AD1955 at the heart of its digital processing. It also has a USB-B input which is capable of handling 192kHz/24-bit digital signals, and an optically-connected coaxial digital input with a 12V trigger port to boot.
As is Emotiva's wont, this is a very good-looking piece of kit that is well-made and reasonably priced for the level of performance on offer. A slick front panel with an illuminated volume/menu/tuning knob and a blue VFD display that can be dimmed for maximum effect are the star attractions of this little jug.

It depends on where you are and what you are ordering. All types of speakers will take minimum 4-5 business days as per the delivery location. Products that are not magnetic can be delivered faster if customer agrees to bear air-freight cost.
