The new CDA-16 is the latest in our Custom Installation product range and is designed to work with any Bowers & Wilkins custom installation speaker. It offers 16 channels and can power a mix of in-ceiling or in-wall speakers in up to eight rooms for high-quality stereo sound from one compact component.
In its standard configuration, the CDA-16 delivers 50 W into each of its 16 channels – or 100W with 4-ohm speakers in bridged mode – delivering generous control and authority to ensure you can get the best from any custom installation. In addition, the CDA-16 can be configured to bridge all 16 channels to provide 200W into 8 ohms for driving larger speakers.
Its 1U rack-mountable design is ready to fit into any Hi-Fi cabinet or rack for professional installations, while its low operating temperature Class D amplification ensures maximum power output and energy efficiency. It can be placed on a shelf with supplied feet, or used in a rack using the included rack ears for easy configuration and installation.
Connecting sources is simple, with eight pairs of RCA inputs offering the choice of connecting a single set of inputs as a ‘global’ connection which sends a single source signal across all its outputs. There are three power mode options for control – on, automatic detection, and 12v trigger, while robust and reliable protection features prevent damage due to overloads, short circuits, or overheating.
This 1U rack-mountable design is perfect for professional installation and is easily configured using its built-in web interface. It can be connected to the internet through WiFi or a network switch and can use all available audio streaming services via USB, Bluetooth, or the latest HDMI technology.
The CDA-16 also features two low-noise fans and optimized airflow to maintain thermal stability. It can be controlled from any room in your home or office using the included remote control.

It depends on where you are and what you are ordering. All types of speakers will take minimum 4-5 business days as per the delivery location. Products that are not magnetic can be delivered faster if customer agrees to bear air-freight cost.
